As in my phone is connected to the wifi and the laptop is connected to the phone via usb cable. None of these have worked. I’m still fumbling along trying to translate between the Android 6 documentation I’ve got for my Moto G4 and the Android 7 software I’m running on the phone now, but I’ve overcome this current hurdle.

And our apology ancroid the delay in replying. Posted 19 February – All above did connect phone as USB storage. For the second, this only appeared after installing and removing one of the above programs. I am not sure that you need this driver. But my xp new hardware setup doesnt ask for exact location of the saved config file and hence tries searching in the path provided.

As in my phone is connected to the wifi and the laptop is connected to the phone via usb cable. If you have sp 3 then u download the tetherxp. Tethering will work on Win 7.

Pls explain to me clearly. The card should show up as an external drive in WinExplorer, probably called ‘Motorola x,y,z’. Look for icon in system tray to show it is connecting, then try to load a web page. I first tried the “Transfer photos PTP ” option, because that was the initial type of files I was interested in transferring; that failed. But driver not supporting and its not working with my Micromax A75 Android 2.
Sorry I didn’t get back before now but I was late home yseterday and the night before I had no access due to the DDoS attack. From there I can scroll down to “USB for file transfer” and tap on that expanded notification for options.
