FireWire PCIe cards in ? : hackintosh
So you just used a PCIe firewire expansion card to plug the interface in? I just plugged it in the PCI slot and it showed up natively in both my Vanilla install and hackinosh iDeneb Want to add to the discussion?
I did however use a friewire TheDelock card is a FW and a little bit expensive and not in stock. Plug and play, no drivers available, no Kexts required, it has a TI fidewire on it, and it hasn’t had any trouble yet. No you can’t just buy anything. Send a private hacjintosh to Southsidemusic. Any information I am digging up through google and here seem to be more than a couple of years old, and some of the cards mentioned are no longer made or sold. This is a slightly different model number than mine, but mine came with a paper in the box that said no drivers exist for it, it’s just plug and play for any OS.
