Thanx for all the advice in this thread the club building thread and the sizes thread to everyone who contributed was a good week learning to do new things. So erik, with the d2 having moi and the d3 having moi, was there a big difference in forgiveness between these two models when you would not hit in the sweet spot? I have a friend who wants to switch shafts and was wondering if good old Titleist has put any tricks in this one or is it as straightforward as it looks. From bottom to top, the first thing many will notice is the new sole treatment given to the entire line. Another great review, thank you. No problem at all, no.

The D3 suits me a bit more. I hit a bunch of balls on a range off the deck but the opportunity to do so in play never occurred. Tip weights in the shaft would not be enough to get it to D1. Not a bore thru, but a little bit deeper hosel.

Design feshaft Technology As I mentioned, Titleist will admit the D1 and D2 were not the strongest pair of clubs they could have offered. Thanks for the reply Cathi.

I love or loved the club but the shaft snapped after about a month of usage when i was playing my normal round.

It took me a long ti to find a driver that fit me.

Because, if the d comp is a lot more forgiving, I would want it, but if the d comp is not much more ho, than i would want the d3. Sign In Haven’t registered for Team Titleist yet? D3 is a titanium driver with a deep face, a classic pear profile, and mid launch, low spin launch characteristics and an MOI of The Titleist D2 at address. Remember me This is not recommended for shared computers. Optimal CG location low and deep in the clubhead. Remove old shaft Step Three: Have done everyother Titleist, just wondering if anyone has any experience or anything to look out for. The D3 eases the requirements for me to hit a draw.

You said the SW seems a little light, what SW should they be playing at considering the specs? What would be the SW if I hard step the shafts so they play at standard length?

Is the length of the d3 any longer than the d2? Posted 01 November – Please log in to reply.

Reshaft on Titleist Started by g-moneyOct 31 The D3 is an all-around better driver for me than D2, and would be even hoq the only factor by which it had improved was a decrease in spin. Matthew S Oakville, ON. It was actually nice to be able to do something.

But what is the difference in the diamana blue 65 and aldila voodoo 67? Reshafy hit the d3 8. Notify me of follow-up comments by email. So erik, with the d2 having moi and the d3 having moi, was there a big difference in forgiveness between these two models when you would not hit in the sweet spot?
