Thanks for your reply, I have already tried your suggestion by way of using the drivers installed by windows following an uninstall of the SD card reader. Wunders Replied on May 1, How satisfied are you with this response?

Have you tried schc an updated driver for your card reader? In reply to MickSoutham’s post on May 2, You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that readerr phone number is an official Microsoft global customer service number.
The hard disk that I used had a new windows standard build and worked fine which has convinced me that it is a software issue.
